Gary Saphire, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist with 45+ years of experience providing the care, supplies, and education patients need to walk with comfort and confidence.

Dr. Saphire earned a BS in Biology from Brooklyn College in NY. He then attended medical school at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, IL., and graduated cum laude with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1978. He completed his postgraduate training in 1984 with a residency at Coney Island Hospital in NY, where he studied flat feet, and diabetic foot and ankle surgery, and served as Chief Resident in podiatry.

Dr. Saphire is board certified in foot and ankle surgery, as well as quality assurance and utilization review. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and he served as president of the Kings Division of the NY Podiatric Medical Association.

Sharing his expertise with patients, the community and other medical professionals, Dr. Saphire has lectured on several topics: foot and ankle trauma, Achilles tendon repair, plastic surgery techniques for the feet, and more. He is also a published author on multiple arthroscopic issues and has served as the Director of Foot & Ankle Surgery at both the Brooklyn Hospital Center and Caledonian Hospital. He is currently affiliated with Cornell NY-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Valeriya Anbinder, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and podiatric surgeon with 8+ years of experience.

Dr. Anbinder began her postsecondary education at Fordham College in NY where she graduated with a BA in Natural Sciences in 2011. She then attended medical school at New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she earned a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine and graduated with honors in 2015. Her postgraduate education concluded in 2018 with a residency at Richmond University Medical Center, NY where she served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Anbinder is board-certified with the American College of Podiatric Medicine and is a member of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is affiliated with the Richmond University Medical Center and Coney Island Hospital in NY. Dr. Anbinder’s continuing education has been focused on sports injuries, dermal fillers, and limb deformity rotation.
